This is a suit of Japanese inspired torso armor.
Each suit is made of overlapping panels of 8-10 ounce leather laced on with paracord.
There are 4 sets of 6 lames which hang down covering the upper legs, with 2 sets of 5 lames for the middle front and back, also all laced together with paracord.
You have the option of leaving the leather unhardened, or hardening the leather with wax making it much more protective, and legal protection for many fighting groups (SCA, HEMA etc.)
You also have the option of including shoulder armor with the torso armor, also either hardened or unhardened.
The torso and shoulder armor is closed via a loop and toggle system. If you would prefer straps and buckles, let me know when ordering. No additional charge for the substitution.
As a standard, we will use black paracord to lace everything together. Many other color option are available. feel free to message me if you'd like a different color.
Be advised that wax hardening the leather with darken it considerably.

Why so expensive?
Our items are all made by hand. We do not mass produce anything, and every item has been designed, tested, and created by us. A lot of time and effort has gone into every item we offer, and we do our best to make sure that everything that leaves our shop lives up to our standards and hopefully yours.
Can you make a sheath for a knife other than the ones offered here?
We only offer a few different sheath options, but we operate out of a large brick & mortar cutlery store, so there's a chance we have the knife you're looking for. Contact us to set up a custom order.
Do your holsters meet IDPA regulations?
All of our belt holsters meet IDPA regulations, but our shoulder holsters do not.
Are your leather sheaths lined with Kydex?
To put in bluntly, if your leather sheath does what it's supposed to do, you shouldn't need to put a different sheath inside of it. Our leather sheaths function very well being made out of leather, and our kydex sheaths work very well without a leather lining.
Does the knife come with the sheath?
No. Each item is for the sheath/scabbard/holster itself, no knives, swords, or guns are included with any purchase.
