These are a pair of handmade leather lower leg armor. Similar to our other greaves, but with longer sides that are designed to give full coverage of the back of the legs.
They are made from 8-10 oz Latigo leather and feature 2 straps to secure them to your legs. They have the option of being impregnated with wax to add rigidity to function as armor in reenactment fighting, HEMA, LARP, or whatever your hobby happens to be. As with any armor, if you do plan on using these for protection, you should wear a gambeson, or add some padding of your own ( I recommend cotton batting/pillow filler).
As a standard, each pair will come with Steel colored buckles. If you would like brass. let me know and I can swap them out for you at no extra charge.
Be advised that if you choose to wax a lighter color it will cause the leather to darken, so the brown and the Burgundy will end up being a very dark version of those colors.

Why so expensive?
Our items are all made by hand. We do not mass produce anything, and every item has been designed, tested, and created by us. A lot of time and effort has gone into every item we offer, and we do our best to make sure that everything that leaves our shop lives up to our standards and hopefully yours.
Can you make a sheath for a knife other than the ones offered here?
We only offer a few different sheath options, but we operate out of a large brick & mortar cutlery store, so there's a chance we have the knife you're looking for. Contact us to set up a custom order.
Do your holsters meet IDPA regulations?
All of our belt holsters meet IDPA regulations, but our shoulder holsters do not.
Are your leather sheaths lined with Kydex?
To put in bluntly, if your leather sheath does what it's supposed to do, you shouldn't need to put a different sheath inside of it. Our leather sheaths function very well being made out of leather, and our kydex sheaths work very well without a leather lining.
Does the knife come with the sheath?
No. Each item is for the sheath/scabbard/holster itself, no knives, swords, or guns are included with any purchase.
