This is a handmade leather sheath for a full size KA-Bar fighting knife.

Each Sheath is made out of 8-10 ounce latigo cowhide, and features a vertical carry strap, and a snap closure for the grip of the knife. If the "natural" color is chosen, the sheath will be made out of 8-10 ounce vegetable tanned cowhide.

We offer both silver and black snaps. Let us know in the order notes when ordering what color you would like. If you do not note your preference we will give you the snap that bests suits the color of your sheath (All Ka-bar sheaths will default with black hardware with black stitching.)

    Why so expensive?

    Our items are all made by hand. We do not mass produce anything, and every item has been designed, tested, and created by us. A lot of time and effort has gone into every item we offer, and we do our best to make sure that everything that leaves our shop lives up to our standards and hopefully yours.

    Can you make a sheath for a knife other than the ones offered here?

    We only offer a few different sheath options, but we operate out of a large brick & mortar cutlery store, so there's a chance we have the knife you're looking for. Contact us to set up a custom order.

    Do your holsters meet IDPA regulations?

    All of our belt holsters meet IDPA regulations, but our shoulder holsters do not.

    Are your leather sheaths lined with Kydex?

    To put in bluntly, if your leather sheath does what it's supposed to do, you shouldn't need to put a different sheath inside of it. Our leather sheaths function very well being made out of leather, and our kydex sheaths work very well without a leather lining.

    Does the knife come with the sheath?

    No. Each item is for the sheath/scabbard/holster itself, no knives, swords, or guns are included with any purchase.

    Glad i decided to order this sheath for my Ka-Bar, well worth the wait. The sheath that came with my Ka-Bar was kinda junk and I immediately started looking at leather sheathes. I use my knife almost daily and the sheath makes it a lot easier to use, because i dont have to fight with it to get it in and out of the sheath.
