This is a simple leather sleeve that fits the Benchmade Proper, or any other similarly sized knife.
The sleeve is a comfortable way to keep your knife safe in your pocket, as the Proper and most other slip-joint knives do not have pocket clips.
Each standard sleeve is made of 3-4 ounce napa cowhide, or 2-3 ounce crocodile patterned veg tan cowhide. Our natural, crocodile patterned and Herman Oak leathers are a bit less supple than the napa leathers, so we use a 2-3 ounce leather instead of 4-5 ounce to keep them pliable. This does not effect the strength or longevity of the slip.
You also have the option of higher end leathers including Hermann Oak bridle leather, Horween Chromexel, and Horween Dublin
Currently, the options for stitching colors are: Black, Brown, White, Hot Pink, Light Pink, Yellow, Green, Red, Blue, Orange, Purple, and Gray.

Why so expensive?
Our items are all made by hand. We do not mass produce anything, and every item has been designed, tested, and created by us. A lot of time and effort has gone into every item we offer, and we do our best to make sure that everything that leaves our shop lives up to our standards and hopefully yours.
Can you make a sheath for a knife other than the ones offered here?
We only offer a few different sheath options, but we operate out of a large brick & mortar cutlery store, so there's a chance we have the knife you're looking for. Contact us to set up a custom order.
Do your holsters meet IDPA regulations?
All of our belt holsters meet IDPA regulations, but our shoulder holsters do not.
Are your leather sheaths lined with Kydex?
To put in bluntly, if your leather sheath does what it's supposed to do, you shouldn't need to put a different sheath inside of it. Our leather sheaths function very well being made out of leather, and our kydex sheaths work very well without a leather lining.
Does the knife come with the sheath?
No. Each item is for the sheath/scabbard/holster itself, no knives, swords, or guns are included with any purchase.

If you own a Benchmade Proper traditional pocket knife, I would highly recommend that you purchase one of these leather slips. They look good. They fit very well. They also protect your knife. 5 stars across the board for this shop!
