This baldric is inspired by one worn by Captain Miles Standish in a famous painting of the first thanksgiving.
The baldric is made from 8-10 ounce latigo cowhide, and features the buckle of your choice.
It features a generous frog with 6 buckled straps in either brass or steel depending on which buckle you choose.
Naturally, the sword shown in the photos does not come with the baldric.
If you would like a Left handed version of the baldric, please let me know in the comments when ordering.
Each baldric will comfortably fit someone 5'5"- 6'2" If you need one custom made to accommodate your height, feel free to contact me.
You now have the option of upgrading the frog and main strap to make them one piece instead of the 2 piece riveted construction. Check out the "Baldric Upgrade" listing in our baldric section for more details.

Why so expensive?
Our items are all made by hand. We do not mass produce anything, and every item has been designed, tested, and created by us. A lot of time and effort has gone into every item we offer, and we do our best to make sure that everything that leaves our shop lives up to our standards and hopefully yours.
Can you make a sheath for a knife other than the ones offered here?
We only offer a few different sheath options, but we operate out of a large brick & mortar cutlery store, so there's a chance we have the knife you're looking for. Contact us to set up a custom order.
Do your holsters meet IDPA regulations?
All of our belt holsters meet IDPA regulations, but our shoulder holsters do not.
Are your leather sheaths lined with Kydex?
To put in bluntly, if your leather sheath does what it's supposed to do, you shouldn't need to put a different sheath inside of it. Our leather sheaths function very well being made out of leather, and our kydex sheaths work very well without a leather lining.
Does the knife come with the sheath?
No. Each item is for the sheath/scabbard/holster itself, no knives, swords, or guns are included with any purchase.

A quality product from an excellent seller. I pulled an audible after placing the order and he nailed it. It’s perfect! My recommendation for a larger (functional) sword is the 2” one piece. Prevents bite on your shoulder and perfectly balances the blade 👍

The order ready faster than anticipated and far exceeded my expectations. The baldric is made from a very high quality leather, and after wearing it on several hikes in various weather conditions, I am confident it will hold up to years of use. If you are wondering if you should but - the answer is yes. You should have already ordered. I’ll definitely be ordering more in the future, and I intend to convince my friends to get their baldric from here as well... so we can all strut about with our rapiers!
