These are a pair of relatively simple vambraces , similar to our “warrior” style that combine the convenience of a buckled vambrace with the security of a laces.
Each pair is made out of a base layer of 4-5 ounce bison leather, with a top layer made out of 5 panels of 8-10 ounce latigo, giving you the comfort and flexibility of the bison leather with the rigidity and protection of the latigo.
The vambraces are attached via a leather strap that is woven through 6 points and tightened by a single buckle. This allows for a much more precise range of pressure on the arm which better keeps the vambrace in place, but allows for the strap to be buckles closed which is much more convenient that tying laces.
These, like all of our armor pieces are able to be wax hardened. Let us know when ordering if you'd like yours hardened.
If you’d like, you can include measurements of the circumference of your wrist and forearm to have them custom sized at no extra charge. If no measurements are given, they will be “one size fits most”
Be advised that wax hardening the leather does darken it considerably, so keep that in mind when ordering.

Why so expensive?
Our items are all made by hand. We do not mass produce anything, and every item has been designed, tested, and created by us. A lot of time and effort has gone into every item we offer, and we do our best to make sure that everything that leaves our shop lives up to our standards and hopefully yours.
Can you make a sheath for a knife other than the ones offered here?
We only offer a few different sheath options, but we operate out of a large brick & mortar cutlery store, so there's a chance we have the knife you're looking for. Contact us to set up a custom order.
Do your holsters meet IDPA regulations?
All of our belt holsters meet IDPA regulations, but our shoulder holsters do not.
Are your leather sheaths lined with Kydex?
To put in bluntly, if your leather sheath does what it's supposed to do, you shouldn't need to put a different sheath inside of it. Our leather sheaths function very well being made out of leather, and our kydex sheaths work very well without a leather lining.
Does the knife come with the sheath?
No. Each item is for the sheath/scabbard/holster itself, no knives, swords, or guns are included with any purchase.
