Designed to pair with our leather chest protector/short cuirass, or to be worn on its own, this armor works well to protect your belly and sides during HEMA/ Sport Fencing or during Larp/Cosplay.
Made from 8-10 ounce latigo cowhide, and secured via 2 buckle straps which wrap all the way around making it very secure in addition to very cool looking.
You have the option of getting it wax hardened or left unhardened. If you plan on using it as actual protection, we recommend the hardened option. Do be aware that wax hardening will harken the leather color significantly.
We can also do different colored straps from the standard color, so feel free to let us know if you'd like contrasting strap colors when your order.
For a more tailored fit, please include a measurement of the circumference of your belly when ordering.
If you’d like the different layers in your 2 layer armor to be different colors, let me know in the order notes.

Why so expensive?
Our items are all made by hand. We do not mass produce anything, and every item has been designed, tested, and created by us. A lot of time and effort has gone into every item we offer, and we do our best to make sure that everything that leaves our shop lives up to our standards and hopefully yours.
Can you make a sheath for a knife other than the ones offered here?
We only offer a few different sheath options, but we operate out of a large brick & mortar cutlery store, so there's a chance we have the knife you're looking for. Contact us to set up a custom order.
Do your holsters meet IDPA regulations?
All of our belt holsters meet IDPA regulations, but our shoulder holsters do not.
Are your leather sheaths lined with Kydex?
To put in bluntly, if your leather sheath does what it's supposed to do, you shouldn't need to put a different sheath inside of it. Our leather sheaths function very well being made out of leather, and our kydex sheaths work very well without a leather lining.
Does the knife come with the sheath?
No. Each item is for the sheath/scabbard/holster itself, no knives, swords, or guns are included with any purchase.
