This listing is for a custom wood and leather scabbard made to fit the Royal Armouries I:33 sparring sword from Albion.
Each scabbard is made out of kiln dried poplar which is hand shaped to ensure proper fit. The scabbards are then lined in wool and covered in vegetable tanned leather which can be dyed many different colors.
Each scabbard will have a raised throat and steel chape. We have many chape options available. Feel free to contact me about what chape options are available, otherwise I’ll choose one that fits your scheme. As shown we can also do leather rain guards, leather chapes, and other custom options. feel free to contact us for details.
You have the option of adding a suspension to your scabbard, which can be any of our 4 integrated belt options, We can also do custom belt styles, or lace closure belts as shown. Feel free to contact us about customizing your belt.
Naturally, the sword pictured is not included.

Why so expensive?
Our items are all made by hand. We do not mass produce anything, and every item has been designed, tested, and created by us. A lot of time and effort has gone into every item we offer, and we do our best to make sure that everything that leaves our shop lives up to our standards and hopefully yours.
Can you make a sheath for a knife other than the ones offered here?
We only offer a few different sheath options, but we operate out of a large brick & mortar cutlery store, so there's a chance we have the knife you're looking for. Contact us to set up a custom order.
Do your holsters meet IDPA regulations?
All of our belt holsters meet IDPA regulations, but our shoulder holsters do not.
Are your leather sheaths lined with Kydex?
To put in bluntly, if your leather sheath does what it's supposed to do, you shouldn't need to put a different sheath inside of it. Our leather sheaths function very well being made out of leather, and our kydex sheaths work very well without a leather lining.
Does the knife come with the sheath?
No. Each item is for the sheath/scabbard/holster itself, no knives, swords, or guns are included with any purchase.

The scabbard was perfectly sized to my RA.I.33 sword. I was genuinely pleased to discover that I could get one made and with the overall quality of the product.
