A handmade bison leather saddlebag style satchel modeled after the bag John Marston uses in Red Dead Redemption 1
Each bag is made out of 4-5 ounce bison leather with a simple square flap and single silver button closure on the right side. Each bag features a 1″ wide 60″ long shoulder strap made out of 8-10 ounce latigo cowhide in your choice of color.
The main body of the bag is available in light or dark brown bison leather. Other colors are available, so feel free to contact us if you'd like something less conventional.
You also have the option of having the bag being made out of brain tan bison leather. Brain tanned leather is a traditional method of tanning, where the leather is processed using the brain of the animal and then smoked over a fire. Brain Tanned leather is much more complicated to make, so it is a bit more expensive. Brain tan is much more true to the period, so if accuracy to what Arthur would have actually had is what you’re going for, you cannot do better than Brain tan.
*Note, as brain tanned leather is smoked over a fire, it will have a fairly strong campfire smell that may not fade for some time.
Each bag has a generous (12.5″ x 9.5″ x 2″) main storage area as well as a smaller inner pocket for smaller items.

Why so expensive?
Our items are all made by hand. We do not mass produce anything, and every item has been designed, tested, and created by us. A lot of time and effort has gone into every item we offer, and we do our best to make sure that everything that leaves our shop lives up to our standards and hopefully yours.
Can you make a sheath for a knife other than the ones offered here?
We only offer a few different sheath options, but we operate out of a large brick & mortar cutlery store, so there's a chance we have the knife you're looking for. Contact us to set up a custom order.
Do your holsters meet IDPA regulations?
All of our belt holsters meet IDPA regulations, but our shoulder holsters do not.
Are your leather sheaths lined with Kydex?
To put in bluntly, if your leather sheath does what it's supposed to do, you shouldn't need to put a different sheath inside of it. Our leather sheaths function very well being made out of leather, and our kydex sheaths work very well without a leather lining.
Does the knife come with the sheath?
No. Each item is for the sheath/scabbard/holster itself, no knives, swords, or guns are included with any purchase.
